In 2005, the Gold Coast Library Network produced “The Community Library and Resource Information Guide for Teachers K-12.” The Guide was the result of a grant from the University of California Santa Barbara Chancellor’s Outreach Advisory Board and Office of Academic Preparation and Equal Opportunity.

The Guide includes local organizations within our three counties - San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura - that provide teachers with curriculum-related materials, classroom activities, and teacher/student programs and services.

The Guide is divided alphabetically by six categories and subdivided by county.
  1. Ecology/Environmental Preservation
  2. Educational Partnerships
  3. History/Historic Preservation
  4. Libraries and Special Collections
  5. Museums
  6. Newspapers
The Guide is available here in PDF format for viewing or printing.
